David Mlinaric CBE (born 1939) is one of Britain’s most distinguished interior decorators. Since establishing his own practice in the early 1960s, he has become internationally recognised for the restoration and decoration of historic houses, museums, galleries and public buildings, as well as private residences throughout Britain, Europe and North America. His work is characterised by exceptional scholarship, architectural sensitivity and meticulous attention to historical detail, and he has played a significant role in the conservation and interpretation of
many of Britain’s most important historic interiors.
